オイル交換

先日覗いた漆黒の闇を無視するのは忍びなく、オイルとフィルターを交換した。
いつもなら2500-3000kmで交換だけど、今回は前回交換から900km。
タイミングとしてはだいぶ早いとはいえ、5月のフルメンテでは7年放置したバイクに2011年製造のオイルを入れた状態なので、シーズン開始前に一度交換しておくもの良かろうと。

冷間でオイル交換する派デス。
住環境的に、無駄なアイドリングを控えたい事もあるけど、オイルパンに溜まったオイルをわざわざ循環させる事は無い。
温まっていない硬い状態のオイルでも時間おけばしっかり抜ける。
青空整備なのでチェーン磨いたりしつつのんびり待つ。(今回は45分ぐらい)
ガレージなら、前日晩にドレン開けて一晩放置できて良いよね..

見た目は真っ黒だけど、汚れはそこそこ。
シフトフィールが悪くなってた感触も全くなかったですし。

火傷とか手の汚れを気にするぐらいなら、マグネットオイルドレンツールがおすすめ。
少しドレンボルトを緩めたら、あとはこのツールのマグネットでクルクル回してボルトを外すので、手にオイルがつくことはない。
ドレンボルトのマグネットには相変わらず鉄粉の付着あり。

次にオイルフィルターを外して、30分ほど放置。
抜けやすいようにフロントスタンドを外して前下がりに。
普通はドレンのオイル抜きと並行してオイルフィルターも外すけれど、今回は検証したいことがあり、フィルターを外す前にドレンを締めてある→番外編

入れるオイルはいつものヤマルーブ RS4GP、エフェロブランド時代からずっとコレ(当時は4RS)。
以前は飴色だったけど、RS4GPになって赤色に。

ジョッキで3.2L入れて、マニュアル通りに、数分アイドリングして3分待ってオイルレベルを確認。

Fよりも少し低いところなので、許容でしょう。

＜番外編＞
実際にどれだけオイルが抜けているのか気になったので、ちょっと検証してみた。

重量を測って、そこから容量を算出していく方法で検証。

オイルの重さ
左：使用前の４L缶=3782g, 右：空の4L缶=368g
3782g-368g = 3414g/4L, オイル1Lは約854g

ドレンから抜いたオイル
(2825g-トレイ重量245g)÷854= 2580g=3020ml

オイルフィルター交換のオイル

受けのダンボールは29g

抜けたオイルと、ダンボールの合計は3001g

(3001g –ダンボール29g –トレイ245g)=2727g オイルフィルター交換で抜けたオイル(A)

フィルター内部のオイル
左の新品は純正、右の使用済みはVesraなので、誤差はあるかもしれない。

343-198= フィルター内のオイルは145g (B)

(A)+(B) =2872g / 854g =3360
フィルター交換で抜けたオイル量は合計3360ml

まとめ
フィルター交換なし 3020ml
フィルター交換あり 3360ml
ほぼ、マニュアル通りの数値、有り無しでの差は340ml 

余ったオイルの量も計測してみた
余った４L缶は1179gなので、1179 -368(空4L缶) = 缶に残ったオイル811g

オイルの付着したジョウゴとジョッキは141g。
汚れていない状態では128gなので、
141g-128g＝ジョウゴとジョッキに付着したオイル13g。

811g+13g =824g/854g = 使わなかったオイルは964ml。

3200m入れたなら残りは800mlのはず。
164mlはどこに消えたって話になる。

1Lのジョッキを使っているので、3200ml入れる場合、ジョッキには4回オイルの出し入れがある。
つまり、ジョウゴとジョッキに付着したオイル13gx4回分 = 52g= 60mlのオイルが実はバイクに注がれていない。

残りの104mlは？

ジョッキの精度を確認してみると…

写真ではわかりづらいけど、水は1Lメモリのところ。
1000gとなるべきところが、980gしかない。
このジョッキの1L目盛で約-20mlの誤差がある。
3000mlの場合、実際よりも60ml少なかったということになる。
ちなみに、1000mlの水を入れると、水面は赤いライン。

ジョッキの精度で-60ml、ジョウゴとジョッキに付着したオイル-60mlで合計-120ml。
消えた164mlに対して、足りない44mlは誤差範囲かな。

残量から、今回のオイル交換では3036~3080mlのオイルを入れたってことになる。
オイル点検窓では問題ないレベルなので、神経質になることもないかと思うけど、今度100mlほど追加しよう。

次は重さを目安にオイル交換してみるのもアリかも。
1000ml=854g
3000ml = 2562g
3300ml = 2818g
