DISCO de GIMBAL

DISCO用のDIYブラシレスジンバルの中身のセッティングがほぼ完了。
ボードのマウントや配線なんかのハードはまだ仮置き。

YUN-1がそうだったように、手持ちでグリグリやってセッティングが見えれば8,9割終わった感じで、あとは飛ばしながらの微調整。とは言いつつ、まだ特性を掴みきれてないので調整代は多そうだけども。

防振面ではニトリルゴム系の板材を挟んだだけの締結部が未知数ではあるけど、GoPro単体では一応防振できてたので期待はしつつ。
実は動かすまで、RC TIMERボードのセッティングには紆余曲折かなり手間取った。
48GUIのFirmware-Uploadをポチッとしたのがマズかったのか、GUIにも繋がらず、ファームの上書きもできず、ブートローダー焼くのもムリポなド窮地に陥った…

 

RCG読み漁ってできることは全てやったけれど、結局、うちのWin7x2台では認識はするものの、Arduinoの書き込みもGUIへのコントローラーボードのマウントもできず。
その辺のTips(紆余曲折)は省くけど、”TC:Reading Values…”でスタックして困ったら聞いてみてください。適当でよければお答えするかも。

最終的に、Mac環境でファームの上書きが上手くいって、GUIはWish使ってOSXで動かしてる。何度も失敗してたのが、なぜ上手くいったのかは良くわかってないけど(いろいろ弄りすぎててハッキリしないw)、結果オーライ。
 

iMacだから外でセッティングできないってのはかなり厄介ではあるけど、贅沢は敵だ(笑)

 

やっと使えるようになった48GUI、AlexMosと似たような感じの設定項目。
欲しいと思う機能も似たようなところで、たとえばセンサーの向きを設定させろよ、とか(AlexMosは次回アプデで搭載)。RC入力のテストができるスライダーが欲しいな、とか。

AlexMosはマウスドラッグでの調整が面倒だけど、コチラは普通にクリックでも、数字入力でもOK。
“Save”でボードに仮保存、でUSBに繋いだままで動作の確認をしつつ、最終的なボードへの書き込みは”Save to flash”をクリック。

 
そんなこんなで、無事に動いたDIY GIMBAL for DISCO、
『OpenSource vs. AlexMos』的な比較ができるわけじゃないけど、両方触ってみた感想。

手持ちグリグリファーストインプレッションでは、DIYの方がモーターのトルクがあるからなのかしっとり動いてる雰囲気はありつつ。コントローラーのスタビライズ的性能に差は無さげな雰囲気。

というか、差が判る程触ってない。ま、Youtubeで動画見てもどっちか判らないから、似たようなもんなんでしょう。
あ、音は違う！電源入れてるの忘れるぐらいにマジで無音。AlexMos惨敗。

『どちらが良いコントローラーなのか？』世間では意見は割れてるみたいだけど、”横(ロール？)への動きに対していかに水平軸がズレないかどうか”が大きなポイントみたい。
ZENMUSE HEROは中国テストユーザーが動画上げてるけど、上記の点では評価良くないっぽい。
 
ま、どのコントローラーもまだ始まったばかりなので、どんどん良くなっていくでしょ。
で、話をもどしてDISCO de GIMBAL

Youtubeに溢れてるグリングリン動画だけど、やっぱり自分のが動くと嬉しいね。
とくに今回はセッティングでかなり足踏みした分、ひとしお。

なるべく後ろにバッテリーを積めばウマく機体のバランスも取れそう。

 
それにしても、ずっとYUN-1+F450ばかりで、DISCOは初フライト以降一度も飛ばしてないっていうね(笑)

    感心致しました。是非真似させて頂きます。
    カーボン部を繋げているLアングルは、どの様な部材を使われています？

    カーボンアングル！！！これ喉から手が出るほど欲しかったヤツです！!探したのですが、お手軽DIYには手がでない位高いんですよね。
    ぜひぜひ、カーボン一体でシンプルなブラシレスジンバルを作って下さい。
    　
    ちなみにボクのアングルは、ホムセンで200円程度のアルミアングルをカットの後、ミッチャクロンで下地→艶消しブラック塗装と無駄に手間だけかけてみました(笑)

    Prop./バッテリー抜き(GoPro等含む)で1000gちょっとだった気がします。
    今は半分バラされてる状態なので正確には測れないっす。

    手持ちのモーター980KVとアンプの推力を計算して大丈夫そうならポチってみます。
