DISCOに載せるRxのアンテナ線は、その位置柄、プラプラさせてるとローターで切れたりします。ボクは2度切ってます…
それ以降、アンテナはテープで本体に止めたりしてたんだけど、PROではスタイル重視てことで、立てて固定。
で、前エントリにそんな件を書いたら、おっ立てる方法のご質問いただいたので、軽くDIYエントリ。

DISCOの画像を見てると、アンテナ立ててる外人さんが多いけれども、意外とこの辺のノウハウって語られてなかったりする。
ま、自己流ですけども、参考になれば幸いです的な感じで。

まずは、材料。
この手の趣味の方なら道具は揃ってると思うのですが、ホムセンか100均、アマゾンなどで簡単に揃うので、持っていない方はコレを機にぜひ。

材料

  1. プラチューブ
    通常、ラジコン関係ではアンテナチューブやアンテナパイプって名称で売られてます。
    アメリカでは入手できなかったので、φ3.2のABSチューブで作りました。
    チューブ状である程度の強度がある素材なら、細めのストローでも何でもよろしいかと。
  2. ブリスターパック
    軽くて加工も容易で、廃材利用で簡単に入手できるので、DIY感が高まります(笑)
  3. 瞬間接着剤
    プラチューブの素材を接着可能なものを
  4. シュリンクチューブ
    切れ端が転がってるかと思いますので、それを再利用。
  5. タイラップ
    なるべく細めが良いですね。
  6. 3M強力両面テープ
    VHBてのがベスト
  7. ヒートガン
    パワーはそこまで必要ないので、小さめのがオヌヌメ

　

 作製手順

  1. プラチューブの切り出し
    アンテナの長さ-15mmぐらいの長さにプラチューブを切り出す。Tail antenna Bracket-02
  2. プラチューブの曲げ加工
    ヒートガンでプラチューブを熱して曲げる。
    このとき、ピンセットを突っ込んで、2本をくっ付けるように押しつまみながら作業する。平面部が多いピンセットを使うと良ろし。Tail antenna Bracket-03
    ２本の角度をあまり広げるとペラと干渉するので、様子を見つつ90°弱を目安に曲げる。
    その後、ピンセットで潰した面を瞬着で張り合わせる。Tail antenna Bracket-04
  3. アンテナチューブ仕上げ
    チューブの周りに軽く瞬着を塗り、乾く前にシュリンクする。
    このときもピンセットを穴に突っ込んでおかないと、シュリンクで穴が潰れるので、注意。Tail antenna Bracket-05
    こんな感じでアンテナチューブは完成。

    続いて、ブラケット。

  4. ブラケット部材の切り出し
    ブリスターパックを8mm×60mmほどに切り出す。
    長さは最後に調整するので適当でOK    Tail antenna Bracket-07
  5. 折り返しを作る
    軽くヒートガンで炙って、15〜20mmぐらいでU字に曲げる。
    その後、タイラップ滑り止め用のカットを入れる。    Tail antenna Bracket-08
  6. アンテナチューブとブラケットの固定
    タイラップで締める。多少隙間や傾きが付いても、次行程で仕上げるので、気にしない。Tail antenna Bracket-09
  7. ブラケットの形を整える
    軽くヒートガンで熱しながら、ブラケットをチューブの形にピタッと馴染ませる。(チューブが潰れないように注意！)Tail antenna Bracket-10
  8. 貼付け
    ブラケットの長さをRxに合わせてカットした後、両面テープで貼付ける。Tail antenna Bracket-11
  9. 仕上げ
    両面テープ丸見えは見栄えがよろしくないので、最後に上から黒テープでボロ隠し。Tail antenna Bracket-14

ほんとは蛍光カラーで作りたかったんだよな〜。

    キター！早速のエントリありがとうございます。
    やっぱりTBS DISCOにはこの尻尾ですよね。

    アンテナチューブもですけどブリスターパック＋ヒートガンのブラケットは綺麗ですね、真似します！
