日本では発売が予定されていないHDR-AS10だが、パッケージも説明書(AS15共通)にも日本語が併記されているので、もしかしたら発売されるかもしれないね。※追記:本体内蔵のPDFハンドブックにも日本語ver.がありました。



先ずはファーストインプレッション&amp;サマリー。色々と粗が気になったのは最後発が故、ソニーへの期待値の高さ故か...

 ■形状・サイズContourに良く似た、ゴーグル横へのマウントが様になる薄長系。Contourはレンズの回転で本体角度に関わらず水平を出せるナイスな機構をもつが、HDR-ASは固定レンズなので水平出しの為には本体を垂直に立てる必要あり。


GoProよりも手に馴染みやすい形で裸で使いやすい。
サイズ、重量は以下のとおり


小振りな本体との対比がそう見せるのか、防水ハウジングは思っていたよりも大振りで GoProよりもボリュームあり。



マウントベースでかっ(笑) ガッチリ安定感あり。


ハウジングにインすると側面の設定関係のスイッチが押せなくなる。こういう所に見え隠れするコスト削減のあおり。ハウジングにインしたままでの設定変更にはWiFi&amp;スマホが便利！...んなわけはなくて、アクションな現場ではハウジング上から押せる堅牢さが大切だろうと、あまりアクションしないボクですらそう思うんだけどね。

 ■端子


GoProの背面ポートと同じようなソニーオリジナルの拡張コネクターを搭載。LCD Unit以外にもオプションが用意されるのか、ちょっと期待。Micro USB端子はバッテリーの充電用やデータ転送だけではなく、外部からの給電撮影にも対応してる。DSC-RX100と同じように、本体バッテリーを抜いた状態でもポータブルバッテリー(出力1.0A)から給電しながら撮影できた。(0.8AのバッテリーではNG)&nbsp; ただし、端子が底面の蓋の中にあるため、ハウジングやマウントを使うとUSBやマイク端子にはアクセスできない超謎仕様(苦笑)現状、端子を使うには裸で使うか、ジグを自作するしか方法は無い...。 ※追記PDFハンドブックに『電源供給が1.5A未満のUSB機器では正常に給電できない場合があります』との記載がありました。

■アクセサリー/マウント上2段の6種類がローンチアクセサリー。(Waterproof housingとAdhesive Mountは付属品で本体同梱。)


今後予定されているものは下段の3品。


良いなと思ったのは、集音用のハウジングドアアクセサリー。水深約20〜60mってアバウトすぎ(笑)　マイク集音率upながら10mの防水性能を確保。これを標準付属にしなさいよ！と叫びたい。大きな声で叫びたい！(集音だけに)需要は「良音(10m防水)＞ボケちゃう60m防水」だと思うんですよソニーさん。そもそも、10m以上の防水を要する水中で使う人はダイビング用のフラットレンズを使うでしょ。標準品の立ち位置ってどこ？60m防水って言いたいだけ？
ここでも気になったのはUSBやマイク端子にアクセスできるハウジングやマウントが見当たらないこと。これは車載用として使われることも多いアクションカムとしては致命的なウィークポイント。HDR-AS10/15の可能性を広げる上では必須でしょ。実際需要も多いと思う。これは要改善、今後のアクセサリー展開に望みを託す。 こうしてみると、HDR-AS15/10のネガの部分はGoProに結構似てるところもあるのだけど、後発だからこそ、そこは潰さなきゃダメ。そういう改善が日本メーカーの強みだと思ってたんだけどね...。やっぱり、Contourのマウントは良くできてるなぁ。
　■スペック比較ラストはサラリとスペック比較。


結構GoPro2と切磋琢磨な感じ。逆に考えると、同等なスペックながら、WiFi込みで約8千円も安く作ってきたところはソニー圧倒的。さらにWiFiに関しては、GoProはスマホ連携が未完成でappがリリースされておらず使い物にならない。かたやSonyはスマホからフルコントロール可能で完成度高し。
ということで、なんだかんだと文句を書きつつも、期待を胸にテストシュートに望んだ訳ですが...　


結論から言うと、期待はずれ！！ただ、光が少ない所での強さはさすがExmor® R CMOSセンサー。そこに関してはGoPro2より良い感じ。

ということで、画質比較編はその3で(引っ張る程の画はないけど、準備に時間がかかりそうなのでw)

<p><strong> <span style="font-size: 1.2em;"><strong>■</strong>形状・サイズ</span></strong><br />Contourに良く似た、ゴーグル横へのマウントが様になる薄長系。<br />Contourはレンズの回転で本体角度に関わらず水平を出せるナイスな機構をもつが、HDR-ASは固定レンズなので水平出しの為には本体を垂直に立てる必要あり。</p>

<p>ハウジングにインすると側面の設定関係のスイッチが押せなくなる。こういう所に見え隠れするコスト削減のあおり。<br />ハウジングにインしたままでの設定変更にはWiFi&amp;スマホが便利！&#8230;んなわけはなくて、アクションな現場ではハウジング上から押せる堅牢さが大切だろうと、あまりアクションしないボクですらそう思うんだけどね。</p>

<p>GoProの背面ポートと同じようなソニーオリジナルの拡張コネクターを搭載。LCD Unit以外にもオプションが用意されるのか、ちょっと期待。<br />Micro USB端子はバッテリーの充電用やデータ転送だけではなく、外部からの給電撮影にも対応してる。<br /><a href="http://hightimes.cocolog-nifty.com/blog/2012/07/dsc-rx100.html">DSC-RX100と同じ</a>ように、本体バッテリーを抜いた状態でもポータブルバッテリー(出力1.0A)から給電しながら撮影できた。(0.8AのバッテリーではNG)<br /><span style="font-size: 0.8em;">&nbsp;</span> ただし、端子が底面の蓋の中にあるため、ハウジングやマウントを使うとUSBやマイク端子にはアクセスできない超謎仕様(苦笑)<br />現状、端子を使うには裸で使うか、ジグを自作するしか方法は無い&#8230;。<br /><span style="color: #000000;"><strong> <span style="font-size: 0.8em;">※追記</span></strong></span><span style="font-size: 0.8em;"><br />PDFハンドブックに『電源供給が1.5A未満のUSB機器では正常に給電できない場合があります』との記載がありました。</span></p>

<p>良いなと思ったのは、集音用のハウジングドアアクセサリー。<br /><a class="mb" href="http://hightimes247.com/wp-content/uploads/uncategorized/2012/09/26/y_akard1_001.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" height="332" width="480" border="0" src="http://hightimes.cocolog-nifty.com/blog/images/2012/09/26/y_akard1_001.jpg" title="Y_akard1_001" alt="Y_akard1_001" /></a><span style="font-size: 0.8em;"><br />水深約20〜60mってアバウトすぎ(笑)</span><br />　<br />マイク集音率upながら10mの防水性能を確保。<br />これを標準付属にしなさいよ！と叫びたい。大きな声で叫びたい！<span style="font-size: 0.8em;">(集音だけに)</span><br />需要は「良音(10m防水)＞ボケちゃう60m防水」だと思うんですよソニーさん。<br />そもそも、10m以上の防水を要する水中で使う人はダイビング用のフラットレンズを使うでしょ。<br />標準品の立ち位置ってどこ？60m防水って言いたいだけ？</p>
<p>ここでも気になったのはUSBやマイク端子にアクセスできるハウジングやマウントが見当たらないこと。これは車載用として使われることも多いアクションカムとしては致命的なウィークポイント。<br />HDR-AS10/15の可能性を広げる上では必須でしょ。実際需要も多いと思う。これは要改善、今後のアクセサリー展開に望みを託す。</p>
<p>こうしてみると、HDR-AS15/10のネガの部分はGoProに結構似てるところもあるのだけど、後発だからこそ、そこは潰さなきゃダメ。<br />そういう改善が日本メーカーの強みだと思ってたんだけどね&#8230;。<br />やっぱり、<a href="http://contour.com/products/accessories">Contourのマウント</a>は良くできてるなぁ。</p>
<p><strong><span style="font-size: 1.2em;">　<br />■スペック比較</span></strong><br />ラストはサラリとスペック比較。</p>

<p>結構GoPro2と切磋琢磨な感じ。<br />逆に考えると、同等なスペックながら、WiFi込みで約8千円も安く作ってきたところはソニー圧倒的。<br />さらにWiFiに関しては、GoProはスマホ連携が未完成でappがリリースされておらず使い物にならない。かたやSonyはスマホからフルコントロール可能で完成度高し。</p>
<p>ということで、なんだかんだと文句を書きつつも、期待を胸にテストシュートに望んだ訳ですが&#8230;　</p>

給電撮影の件、後ほど本文にも追記しますが、説明書に1.5A未満では正常に動作しない場合があると記載がありました。<br />
ちなみにバッテリーはパナソニックのQE-QL101を使いましたよ。</p>
